Donegal Mutual Insurance Company is a mutual property and casualty insurance carrier providing full lines of personal, farm and commercial products. Donegal Mutual is headquartered in Marietta, Pennsylvania, and operates exclusively through independent agents in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, Ohio and North Carolina. Donegal Mutual is also licensed to do business in a number of additional states to allow for expansion in the future. Donegal Mutual is the majority owner of Donegal Group Inc. and participates in a pooling arrangement with Atlantic States Insurance Company.
