Nestled in a historic colonial home, Donegal’s Glen Allen, VA office exudes historic charm. Located in the suburbs of Richmond, the office serves as a convenient meeting point for remote employees residing in the Mid-Atlantic regions. The dedicated staff at Glen Allen works to serve the policyholders and agents in North Carolina, Virginia, and Delaware.
The home of the Georgia Bulldogs, Athens, GA also hosts one of Donegal’s regional offices. In 2009, Donegal forged an affiliation agreement with Southern Mutual Insurance Company, thereby expanding its footprint in Georgia and South Carolina. Presently, the office predominantly accommodates Claims Representatives and Personal Lines Underwriters who work closely with our agents in the Atlantic South region.
In 2010, Donegal acquired Michigan Insurance Company, enhancing its portfolio with personal and commercial products tailored for the Michigan market. Situated in Grand Rapids the Michigan office, serves as a hub for numerous Claims Representatives, Underwriters, and Marketing employees. At the end of 2023, Michigan Insurance merged with the Midwest region, rebranded as the Greater Midwest, reflecting Donegal’s strategic effort to streamline regional operations.
Donegal Mutual Insurance Company, along with its wholly owned subsidiaries Mountain States Commercial Insurance Company and Mountain States Indemnity Company, collectively known as the Mountain States Insurance Group, offers commercial insurance products in Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, and recently expanded into Arizona. Situated in Albuquerque, NM, the office hosts Claims Representatives, Commercial Lines Underwriters, and various marketing professional.
